GEt involved!
Local politics and youth voters are the most important pieces of our democracy yet are the most neglected. Run for office with the help of the EPIC.
Our MISSION
The EPIC primarily focuses on engaging with youth voters and getting younger citizens involved in the community and local politics. Young people vote at significantly lower rates than other age groups, and the EPIC aims to turnout these voters and recruit younger candidates for office. The youth are the future of this nation, and a strong sense of civil service begins at the local level.
Our history
The goal of the Ephrata Public Interest Committee has always been to fully represent the concerns shared by common-sense citizens of Lancaster County, focusing on what is right regardless of party. The EPIC focuses on reaching out to the community and ensuring that the people of Lancaster know what is going on in the County and are well informed.
